Banana Ball on tour and to be live streamed in 2024

by | Apr 14, 2024

Have you been thinking about (or trying to) check out the Savannah Bananas in recent years? If so, you know that tickets are hard to come by – they sell out every home game, and let’s face it, getting to Savannah, GA isn’t the easiest task in the world.

But fear not, because your chances to check out the self-described “Greatest Show in Baseball” are improving. First, the Bananas announced a US tour, with stops including a handful of actual MLB ballparks, like Minute Maid Park in Houston, Fenway Park in Boston, Nats Park in DC, Progressive Field in Cleveland, and loanDepot Park in Miami.

But if you can’t catch them in any of the 25 major or minor league parks they’ll be playing in this year, then you’ll be able to catch them from the comfort of your own home (or anywhere you have an internet connection). The Bananas announced today that they will be live streaming their entire 2024 schedule of games on the Stadium and Bally Live apps. And here’s what’s even better: both are free to download, and the games are free to watch.

With the majority of their games in minor league ballparks sold out, it made sense to put the games on TV. Now people who can’t get into those ballparks can still check it out, and for those who are in cities where there are still tickets available, maybe seeing it on TV will get them to buy tickets.

Either way, we’re curious enough about it to check it out.  And if you’re interested in checking it out, here’s the Banana’s streaming schedule:
