Schedule Scout: Denver Broncos 2025

The Stadium Insiders Denver Broncos Schedule Scout Banner

Are you planning on going to Denver to see a game at Mile High Stadium? Or perhaps planning to see the Broncos on the road? Either way, we’ve got the entire breakdown of the 2025 schedule for you.

For this Schedule Scout, we’ve included Air Force and Colorado State (both 60 miles away), and the University of Wyoming (145 miles). They are all drivable from Denver, so we wanted to include them in case they were of interest to you. But if not, there’s usually plenty of sports to be had in Denver, between the Rockies, Avs, Nuggets, Rapids, and the University of Colorado. And let’s not forget Red Rocks, one of the most amazing concert venues in the world.

What we like

This is an amazing start to the NFL season in Denver. First of all, Red Rocks is live every night from Thursday to Monday (Jon Batiste, Brandi Carlile, Rainbow Kitten Surprise). If you haven’t been to Red Rocks, and any of these artists are of interest to you, try to go see them. On the sports side, the Rockies are home against the Padres all weekend, and Coors Field is one of our favorites. Plus, Colorado, Wyoming, and Colorado State are all home for football. You could easily do Red Rocks on Friday, Colorado on Saturday afternoon, the Rockies on Saturday night, and the Broncos-Titans game on Sunday without breaking a sweat.

What we like

It’s a good weekend for a quick-hit sports trip to Philly. On Saturday, you could check out the Flyers’ preseason game at 3pm, and still get to Subaru Park by 7:30 for the Union vs. NYCFC. On Sunday, the Eagles-Broncos pull the 1pm start, so get up early if you’re going to brave the Linc’s parking lot or want to get a spot at XFinity Live across the street from the stadium.

Huddersfield Town @ Luton Town, 3:00pm (League One)

The Kooks, O2 Arena, 6:30pm (concert)

*All times local to game location.

What we like

If you’re heading across the pond to see the game, you’ll probably want to focus on tourist things. Which is good, because the Premier League and Championship League are off this week. But, if you really want to see some English football, three of the League One teams are playing (which is actually the third tier of English football). But Luton was in the Premier League as recently as 2023-24, and their stadium went viral for people having to walk through homes to get to their seats.

Boston Bruins @ Colorado Avalanche, 7:00pm (NHL)

LAFC @ Colorado Rapids, 7:00pm (MLS)

*All times local to game location.

What we like

If you’re asking us, we’d see the Avs take on the Bruins on Saturday night at Ball Arena (so we didn’t have to bother renting a car). But if you’d rather see soccer, the Rapids are at home at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park. Then it’s Broncos-Giants on Sunday afternoon.

Dallas Cowboys @ Denver Broncos, 2:25pm (NFL)
Phoenix Suns @ Denver Nuggets, 7:00pm (NBA)

*All times local to game location.

What we like

Unless you’re just dying to see college football, we’d skip the drive and settle in for some NBA basketball on Saturday night, when the Nuggets host the Suns. On Sunday, it’s Broncos vs. Cowboys at 2:25pm, so there’s plenty of time for tailgating/pregaming.

Deadmau5 @ Red Rocks, 6:00pm (concert)

Indiana Pacers @ Denver Nuggets, 7:00pm (NBA)

*All times local to game location.

What we like

Thursday night football returns to Denver, which presents a pretty good travel opportunity. On both Friday and Saturday, Deadmau5 is at Red Rocks and the Nuggets are home (against the Warriors and then the Pacers). So you could do one of each. What we like

There is so much to do for sports in the DC area this weekend. On Thanksgiving night, if you wanted to forgo the turkey dinner at home, you could head to Baltimore for Ravens-Bengals. On Friday, it’s the Caps vs. Maple Leafs in an early evening matinee. On Saturday, you could jump in a car and take the 2.5-hour drive to Charlottesville for UVA against Virginia Tech, because you wouldn’t have to rush back to DC, because the Commanders and Broncos don’t play until 8:20pm on Sunday night.

Three days, three games, six teams. How about starting on Friday with the Avs hosting the Jets, and then on Saturday, the Nuggets host the Rockets. Close it out with the Broncos and Jags on Sunday afternoon.

Merry Christmas! If you’ve decided to open presents in the Arrowhead parking lot, trust us – it’s sure to be a great time. KC has the best tailgating in the NFL, and all you really need is a car, a cooler, and a plate of BBQ from any one of a half-dozen phenomenal places. Depending on where you’re coming from, you might even be able to get a cheap Christmas Day fare.

We don’t know whether the Broncos-Chargers game will be played on Saturday or Sunday, but we do know that there isn’t much else happening in sports that weekend. So the rest of your weekend will be spent wandering the winter wonderland of Denver.

Bottom Line

If you’re heading out on the road to see the Broncos, the Week 2 matchup in Indy gives you the chance to get to Notre Dame, and the Week 3 game in LA allows you to catch the Dodgers and USC. And if you’re up for a Thanksgiving trip to DC, that’s an action-packed weekend as well.

If you’re heading to Denver for a game, the Week 10 Red Rocks/Nuggets/Broncos trifecta is a good option if you like Deadmau5. And for just a straight-up NBA/NHL/NFL schedule, we like Week 16 (and tickets against the Jags in December will be about as cheap as Mile High gets).

Happy sports traveling!
