The addition of these games to the league’s future schedules is part of the NFL’s broader efforts to globalize its presence. In 2025, the league held seven regular-season games in Brazil, Ireland, the United Kingdom, Germany, and Spain, the NFL’s most robust international schedule yet.
In addition to Munich, next year’s international slate features a matchup at Maracanã Stadium in Rio de Janeiro, two games at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London, and the NFL’s first-ever game in Australia, with the Los Angeles Chargers as the home team in Melbourne. There are reportedly efforts to expand the International Series to nine regular-season games next year.
Potential ticket prices for 2026 Munich game
Although ticket prices have not been announced yet, analyzing ticket information from Munich’s 2022 and 2024 games can provide fans with an idea of what to expect. According to the NFL’s FAQ page for the 2022 matchup, general admission tickets went on sale July 19, and prices ranged from €75 (~$88) to €155 (~$182). For 2024’s game, general admission tickets went on sale June 25. Prices ranged from €83.50 (~$98) for Category 6 tickets to €207 (~$244) for Category 1 tickets, representing an 11%-34% increase in ticket prices from 2022.
Projecting this range out to next year’s game, such an increase would result in ticket prices from $108 to $327. While there’s no guarantee that tickets for next season’s game in Munich will follow these same pricing parameters, fans can reasonably expect to pay at least 10% more for tickets in 2026 than in years past, depending on seating area.
