Banana Ball is taking its traveling baseball spectacle to 74 cities across three countries in 2027. But fans hoping to attend have only until Saturday night to register for the ticket lottery.
The Banana Ball Championship League has unveiled its 2027 World Tour schedule, with six teams traveling throughout the United States, Canada, and Mexico to play in venues ranging from minor league ballparks to massive football stadiums.
The season begins February 5 in Monterrey, Mexico, and continues through September, with appearances at Major League Baseball stadiums, college football venues and other unconventional locations.
Unlike traditional professional baseball leagues, Banana Ball teams don’t play most of their games in permanent home stadiums. Instead, they travel from city to city, typically playing two- or three-game series before moving to their next destination.
For fans, the most immediate concern is securing tickets. Registration for the 2027 ticket lottery closes Saturday, October 31, at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time. To register, click here.
How the 2027 Banana Ball ticket lottery works

Banana Ball doesn’t offer a traditional league-wide public ticket onsale. Instead, fans must register for a lottery that determines who receives an opportunity to purchase tickets.
Registration is free, and fans selected in the lottery are under no obligation to purchase tickets. Entering the lottery does not guarantee tickets or even the opportunity to purchase them.
To register, fans should visit the official Banana Ball ticket page and select the city where they would like to attend a game. Each person can register for only one city, although different members of the same household can register individually as long as they are over 15.
After registration closes, Banana Ball will conduct random drawings to select winners, and fans selected in those drawings will be contacted directly with instructions on how and when they can purchase tickets.
Registering early provides no advantage. Fans who enter on Saturday have the same chance of being selected as those who registered when the lottery opened. Just be sure to get registered before the deadline.
Selected fans may purchase up to five tickets, subject to availability.
Which cities offer the best chance of getting tickets?
In an email to fans this week, Banana Ball identified six cities where lottery registrants currently have a better chance of being selected.
Those cities are:
- El Paso, Texas
- Houston, Texas
- San Antonio, Texas
- Waco, Texas
- Auburn, Alabama
- Omaha, Nebraska
The league did not disclose specific odds for any of these markets, but suggested that fans willing to travel consider registering for one of these destinations.
That could be particularly useful for fans who live within driving distance of multiple tour stops or who are planning a trip specifically to see Banana Ball.
However, because fans can register for only one city, choosing a market with better odds means giving up the opportunity to enter the lottery for a different destination.
The league also cautions that lottery selection is completely random, and being drawn does not guarantee that tickets will still be available.
How Banana Ball works in 2027
The Banana Ball Championship League features six teams: the Savannah Bananas, Party Animals, Firefighters, Texas Tailgaters, Loco Beach Coconuts and Indianapolis Clowns. The teams play a modified version of baseball featuring a two-hour time limit, unconventional scoring rules, entertainment throughout the game, and opportunities for fans to participate.
Although the Savannah Bananas remain the league’s biggest attraction, fans shouldn’t assume that a game at an MLB or NFL stadium will feature the Bananas themselves. Several major venues will host matchups between the league’s other five teams, so fans should check the scheduled participants before registering for a city’s ticket lottery.
The league also features standings and a postseason championship known as the Banana Bowl.
Highlights of the 2027 Banana Ball schedule

The 2027 World Tour will visit 79 stadiums in 74 cities across three countries, including 23 Major League Baseball ballparks, 33 Minor League Baseball stadiums, and 10 NFL and college football stadiums. The tour will also feature games at college baseball facilities and other unconventional venues.
Among the notable stops:
- Notre Dame Stadium, South Bend, Indiana: A special Banana Ball 360 event will feature two playing fields inside the football stadium, with teams switching fields between innings.
- Doubleday Field, Cooperstown, New York: A great opportunity to combine Banana Ball with a visit to the National Baseball Hall of Fame.
- Field of Dreams, Dyersville, Iowa: The Indianapolis Clowns and Firefighters will play September 10–11 at the famous baseball site.
- Yankee Stadium, New York: The Savannah Bananas face the Firefighters May 28–30.
- New Nissan Stadium, Nashville: The new Tennessee Titans stadium will host the Banana Bowl championship on September 25, 2027.
The league will also visit traditional minor league venues, including Victory Field in Indianapolis, Louisville Slugger Field, and Hadlock Field in Portland, Maine.
Another unusual event is the Banana Ball Open, scheduled for April 15–18 at ESPN Wide World of Sports in Orlando. The event brings the league’s six teams together for a special four-game competition, and could be a great chance to combine a Banana Ball show with a trip to Disney World.

When will Banana Ball tickets go on sale?
Ticket purchasing opportunities will occur in stages rather than through one league-wide onsale. Banana Ball says lottery registrants should expect to hear from Fans First Tickets during the winter, while individual venues have indicated that tickets may go on sale approximately two months before their scheduled games.
Either way, that should give selected fans time to make travel arrangements, although the exact purchasing timeline may vary by city.
Standard tickets start at $35, although prices vary by venue and seating category. Premium experiences start at $125, or $150 at MLB and other large venues.
What about resale tickets?
For fans who aren’t selected in the lottery, Banana Ball operates an official resale platform called the Fans First Tickets Marketplace, where ticket holders can list tickets they no longer intend to use.
The official marketplace limits resale prices to face value and does not charge buyers or sellers additional fees.
The marketplace provides another potential way to obtain tickets, although availability can be very limited and there is no guarantee that tickets will become available for a particular game. When they do become available, they almost always get snapped up immediately, so there’s a significant luck factor involved in getting tickets that way.
So fans should not assume that the resale marketplace will function like a traditional secondary ticket exchange, where large numbers of listings may be available at any given time. It is a useful option to monitor, but not necessarily a reliable alternative to the lottery.
If the official marketplace doesn’t provide the right solution, fans may find tickets listed on traditional resale platforms such as StubHub or SeatGeek, although prices can be significantly higher than face value. Banana Ball strongly discourages purchases through unauthorized marketplaces and warns that tickets obtained through those channels may not be accepted for admission. While some listings may represent legitimate tickets being resold, buyers should understand that Banana Ball does not guarantee their validity.
For anyone hoping to attend the 2027 World Tour, the first step is to register for the free lottery before 11:59 p.m. ET on Saturday, October 31.
