Just as the US Open comes to a close, ticket presales for the Australian Open will soon open. Beginning on September 15, fans can register for the Grand Slam’s presale and ticketing options, which will go on sale next week.

Registering for a Ticketmaster account

To purchase tickets to The Open, you will need to have an Australian Ticketmaster account. But if you already have a Ticketmaster account in the US or Canada, when you click through to the Australian Open events on your domestic Ticketmaster site, it will automatically link your account information to the Australian platform.

Which means, as long as you have a Ticketmaster account in your home country, you’ll be able to purchase tickets for The Open on the Australian site.

Accessibility Presale

Fans with a disability who require special seating arrangements can register for the Australian Open’s Accessibility Presale through Thursday, September 18, at 10pm ET (which is noon Australian time on 9/19). These tickets provide seating accommodations in Rod Laver Arena (center court), Margaret Court Arena (court #1), and John Cain Arena (court #2). Several seating options are available, including a viewing bay for those in wheelchairs and other areas to accommodate visual and auditory disabilities.

Mastercard Presale

Mastercard cardholders are eligible to join this presale beginning on Tuesday, September 23, at 10pm ET (12:00pm on 9/24 local Melbourne time) and ending the next day at the same time. Fans must pay with a Mastercard to be eligible for this presale. If you don’t have a Mastercard and want to take advantage of this presale opportunity, the Open has confirmed that a prepaid Mastercard should work as well.

AO Extras Presale

This presale is for fans who do not have a Mastercard and do not need accessible seating. The sales window will open at 12:00am ET on Thursday, September 25 (2:00pm local Melbourne time). The presale will end on Monday, October 6, at 7:59am ET (11:59pm local Melbourne time).
