The US Open Tennis Championships announced today that tickets for this year’s tournament will go on sale in May.
The tournament will take place from Sunday, August 24th, through Sunday, September 7th at the USTA Billie Jean King Tennis Center in Flushing, New York, just around the corner from Citi Field.
Tickets will be available for American Express cardholders during a presale on Tuesday, May 27th, starting at 9am ET. That presale will last until Wednesday, May 28th at 11:59pm ET.
Once that presale is over, the general public will have access to tickets starting at 9am ET on Friday, May 30th. Tickets will often sell quickly, so if you’re interested in purchasing, you should be ready to pounce when the buying window opens, both during the presale and public onsale.
As a reminder, the US Open expanded its tournament by a day this year, with the event now starting on Sunday, August 24th, rather than Monday, August 25th. The extra day gives fans even more opportunity to attend the event on a weekend day.
For fans who are interested, qualifying matches will take place from Monday 8/18 through Thursday 8/21. Those events will be made available during these onsales as well.
