The Professional Women’s Hockey League (PWHL) announced an expanded schedule for its 2025-26 Takeover Tour. Coming off a second successful season, the PWHL will bring games to 16 neutral-site stadiums this winter.
Last year’s inaugural Takeover Tour, which ran from January 5 through March 29, featured nine games in nine different cities and drew over 120,000 fans. The 2025-26 version will feature twice as many games in 11 cities. Seven new cities will be added to the schedule, including: Calgary, Chicago, Dallas, Halifax, Hamilton, Washington, D.C., and Winnipeg. Each team will play at least three games. Since last year’s Takeover Tour, the league added expansion teams in Vancouver and Seattle in April 2025, bringing the PWHL to eight franchises.
