Pitbull, Tim McGraw to headline MLB Speedway Classic

by | Jun 7, 2025

Few things can top a concert or a baseball game, other than maybe both on the same day, which is exactly what’s planned for the MLB’s first-ever game at a motorsports track, better known as the MLB Speedway Classic.

Music megastars Pitbull and Tim McGraw will perform prior to the start of the game featuring the Atlanta Braves and the Cincinnati Reds, which starts at 7:15 pm ET at Bristol Motor Speedway in Bristol, Tennessee. The concert is scheduled to begin one hour before first pitch.

How fans can attend the MLB Speedway Classic

Those interested in attending this historic event can purchase tickets through Ticketmaster at this link. There will be no in-person ticket sales at the Bristol Motor Speedway ticket office.

The get-in price for the event as of publication is $88. Fans can purchase up to eight tickets. Just like with all other MLB games, tickets will be delivered via the MLB Ballpark and Ticketmaster apps.

Sections 101-109 and 301-305, which are closest to the field, will also be on the floor level of the pregame concert. Consequently, seats in these sections are much more expensive: as of publication, the cheapest ticket was $703. Fans sitting in other sections can purchase an add-on pass to gain access to a special viewing area to get closer for the concert.

TSI Tip: Due to the nature of the ballpark’s orientation in the Speedway’s infield, finding a seat in the track’s grandstands with a decent view of the game may be slightly more difficult. The corresponding seat to the event’s $88 get-in price is located beyond the left field foul pole, and could have a very poor view of the field. If feasible, TSI recommends fans pay $30 more for seats in center field that should have a more direct and less obstructed view of the game.
