Formula One has become one of the world’s most popular sports over the last several years for a reason, and In Miami, it’s here to stay for the foreseeable future.
F1’s Miami Grand Prix announced last Friday that it would remain on the circuit through 2041, a 10-year extension to its current deal that it signed back in 2022. The race will continue to be run around the outside of Hard Rock Stadium.
As one of three events held in the U.S. (Austin since 2012 and Las Vegas since 2023), the Miami Grand Prix is a significant event on the F1 schedule, and this extension ensures it will remain as such for the next decade and beyond. Miami’s contract extension reflects the sport’s surge in popularity here in the U.S. as the formerly European-dominated circuit has expanded internationally over the last several years.
Last year’s running in Miami saw 275,000 fans attend over the three-day event, on top of just over 3 million viewers who tuned in on ABC.
Fans interested in attending the 2026 Miami Grand Prix can visit F1’s site that offers a wide range of ticket packages, including grandstand tickets, luxury and suite options, and multi-day passes. In 2024, fans could watch Friday’s action for anywhere from $65 to $125, depending on their seats. The weekend rates were significantly more expensive, coming in at $200-$300 on Saturday and anywhere from $500 to $900 for Sunday’s main event.
Last year was also the first time the event offered a single-day campus pass for $350 for Sunday that allowed fans to get into the venue but, importantly, didn’t include a seat or grandstand access. A three-day, $430 campus pass was also available for purchase. F1 likely will offer similar packages again next year that offer “multiple campus zones, 65+ food and beverage occasions, and dedicated prime viewing locations.”
Fans hoping to attend 2026’s race can join the waitlist on F1’s site to be contacted when tickets go on sale at a later date.
