Next year’s slate of events will more intentionally structure races based on geographical proximity, in hopes of streamlining logistics for F1 teams. For example, the Canadian Grand Prix in Montreal will take place after the Miami Grand Prix is held in early May, creating a shortened European leg before the schedule transitions to Asia. Another notable change to the 2026 season’s calendar is Monaco’s move from Memorial Day Weekend, a shift that effectively ends racing fans’ beloved “Motorsports Christmas.”
These scheduling alterations reflect broader efforts by F1 officials to more efficiently structure events and ease the travel burdens associated with global competition on this scale.
Fans hoping to see any races on the F1 2026 schedule in person can visit F1’s ticketing site, which will be updated with ticketing information for each event. Those interested can submit their emails to be notified when more details become available.
Doubleheader Digest
It’s a little too early to know how these events might match up with other local sporting opportunities. But for those looking at 2025, the only currently known doubleheader opportunity is:
Saturday, November 22, 2025: F1 Vegas, 8:00pm PST
Sunday, November 23, 2025: Las Vegas Raiders vs. Cleveland Browns,1:05 pm PST
But stay tuned and we will update these as more schedules are released.
Travel
It’s a little early to begin booking flights or hotels for Vegas or Austin in 2026, but the booking window for Miami for next May is already open, with all major hotel chains already accepting reservations. If you are considering going to Miami for the race, it wouldn’t hurt to make a cancelable reservation, just in case, to try to lock in a good rate.
Bottom line
Fans who want to travel to any of these events should register at F1’s ticketing site to stay up to date about ticket opportunities. And stay tuned to The Stadium Insiders for updated information about doubleheader opportunities, as well as when hotel and airline booking windows open for Austin and Vegas.
