EPL Summer Series Returns to U.S. This Summer

by | May 13, 2025

The English Premier League’s Summer Series is set to make its second trip to the U.S. later this year.

The EPL created its Summer Series in 2023 as a preseason tune-up format to engage its U.S. fanbase. That year, six clubs played matches over the course of eight days at five different venues: Philadelphia’s Lincoln Financial Field, Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium, Orlando’s Exploria Stadium, Newark’s then Red Bull Arena (now Sports Illustrated Stadium), and Landover, Maryland’s then FedEx Field (now Northwest Stadium).

This year’s exhibition will be slightly smaller in scale. From July 26-August 3, four EPL clubs– Everton, AFC Bournemouth, Manchester United, and West Ham United– will play back-to-back matches at venues throughout the country.

The first day’s action kicks off on Saturday, July 26 at 4:00 pm ET at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey with Everton vs AFC Bournemouth, followed by Manchester United vs West Ham United at 7:00 pm ET.

Four days later, on July 30, West Ham United faces off against Everton at 5:30 pm CT at Soldier Field in Chicago. The nightcap features Manchester United vs AFC Bournemouth at 8:30 pm CT.

The final day of matches takes place on Sunday, August 3 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta. The first contest pits AFC Bournemouth against West Ham United at 2:00 pm ET, and the final, and probably most highly anticipated, match of the Summer Series features Manchester United as it squares off against Everton at 5:00 pm ET.

Fans interested in attending any of these games can visit the EPL’s site to purchase tickets here. As of publication, the get-in price for New Jersey’s matches is $98. Chicago’s contests are priced at $100, while fans can attend Atlanta’s for $76. One ticket includes a seat for both matches.

Travel Opportunities

While these games no doubt will deliver exciting moments, fans who just can’t get their fill of sports can maximize their time in the Series’ host cities.

As for the games held at MetLife, fans can arrive early on Friday to catch Game 1 of the Yankees’ homestand against the Phillies at Yankee Stadium. If they’re arriving to the area early on the morning of the EPL games, fans can purchase tickets to catch Game 2 of the Yankees-Phillies series at 1:05 pm ET before heading over to MetLife Stadium. First pitch of Game 3 is slated for 1:35 pm ET on Sunday.

Fans can also book-end a trip to NYC by heading over to Sports Illustrated Stadium on July 31 to watch the NY Red Bulls in their Leagues Cup Group Stage game against Guadalajara. A start time hasn’t been announced for this match just yet. As of publication, ticket prices start at $121.

When the Summer Series moves to Chicago, fans can catch the White Sox as they face the Phillies in a midweek series at Rate Field. Game 1 starts at 7:40 pm ET on Monday, July 28. First pitch for Game 2 is slated for 7:40 on the 29th. As of publication, fans can get into these games for just $8 and $12, respectively.

Finally, once in Atlanta, fans can stick around town to see the Braves as they host the Milwaukee Brewers at Truist Park beginning on Monday, August 4. The first game in the series starts at 7:15 pm ET, while the second contest gets underway at the same time on Tuesday, August 5.

Alternatively, if they still haven’t had enough fútbol action by this point, fans can extend their stay in Atlanta by a few days after the Series comes to a close to watch Atlanta Union FC face Atlas in the Leagues Cup at Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Wednesday, August 6. Get-in prices for this match start at $90.
