The Final Four will be held in San Antonio this year at the Alamodome, and fans who are there will be treated to some free live music as part of the festivities. Jelly Roll, Chris Stapleton, and Pitbull will each headline the March Madness Music Festival over the course of the three-day weekend.
The event will take place at Tower Park, which is located right in downtown San Antonio, and will be open to the public – no ticket purchase is required.
The specific lineup will include:
Friday, April 4th: Pitbull, Doechii, Ravyn Lenae
Saturday, April 5th: Jelly Roll, T-Pain, Willow Avalon
Sunday, April 6th: Chris Stapleton, Nathaniel Rateliff & the Night Sweats, Brothers Osborne
Specific event times have not been announced, but the festival grounds are expected to be open most of the day, with the concerts planned for the evenings. But keep an eye on this space, because the Saturday event could be different so it doesn’t overlap with the actual semifinal games taking place at the Alamodome.

The NCAA championship game will take place on Monday night, April 7th. For those of you wondering what else is happening in the area during that weekend, here’s the regional sports schedule:
Friday, April 4th:
San Antonio Spurs vs. Cleveland Cavaliers, 7pm CT, Frost Bank Center (San Antonio)
Houston Rockets vs. Oklahoma City Thunder, 7pm CT, Toyota Center (Houston)
Saturday, April 5th:
Houston Dynamo vs. Los Angeles FC, 7:30pm CT, Shell Energy Stadium (Houston)
Austin FC vs. Portland Timbers Saturday, 6:30pm CT, Q2 Stadium (Austin)
Houston is a bit of a haul — it’s about 200 miles / three hours away from San Antonio. But Austin is much closer — just 80 miles / 90 minutes. Q2 if a good stadium and Austin FC games are full of energy, so if you can hit this game up, you’ll likely enjoy it. Plus, an overnight stay in Austin on Saturday will probably be much cheaper than a hotel night in San Antonio during Final Four weekend.
