On the heels of another excellent Winter Classic played at Fenway Park, the NHL announced today that the Seattle Kraken will host the Vegas Golden Knights in the next leg of the continuing series. The game will take place on January 1, 2024, and will be held at T-Mobile Park, home of the Seattle Mariners.
No details were released regarding tickets, but most previous Winter Classics have had presales first made available to season ticket holders of each participating team, with a general public onsale following. We will continue to keep you posted as details are released, but for the moment, mark your calendar if you’re a Kraken or Golden Knights fan. Oh … and in case you’re wondering, the temperature in Seattle this past January 1st was a high of 46, and a low of 37, which is just about average for Seattle at that time of year. That would be pretty fantastic weather for an outdoor hockey game!
