Austin’s Q2 Stadium gets 2025 MLS All-Star Game

by | May 15, 2024

The MLS league office announced today that the 2025 MLS All-Star Game will be played at Q2 Stadium in Austin, home of Austin FC. The date and time was not announced.

Austin FC has been a tremendous success since launching in 2021, and we are big fans of Q2 Stadium. It’s a 20,738 capacity soccer-specific stadium, and recent improvements to public transit has made the venue even more appealing for fans (and, in particular, visiting fans).

The MLS All-Star game is unlike its North American sports league peers in that it no longer features just MLS players. In recent years, the game has seen MLS’ best players square off against visiting clubs such as Arsenal, Atletico Madrid, Juventus, and Tottenham, while also playing all-stars from other professional leagues, such as the Liga MX All-Stars.

The event will feature a week of happenings, including the MLS All-Star Skills Challenge, a juniors all-star game, and a concert as well.

Ticket info has not been released, and since a date hasn’t been either, it will be too early to book reservations. But sign up for our newsletter and we’ll keep you informed as these details are announced.
