Chicago Bears and Fire fans rejoice – there’s a new concessionaire coming to town! Levy Restaurants will be taking over the food contract at Soldier Field beginning this fall.
The stadium was previously serviced by Aramark, who has concession operations throughout major league sports, including Citi Field, which TSI believes to be the best stadium food in North America. And yet the food at Soldier Field was always uninspired and average (at best). There could be a variety of reasons for that: the kitchen facilities at the venue, the financial relationship between the Bears, the Chicago Park District, and Aramark …. who knows. But with a new concessionaire comes fresh hope for attendees of a better food experience during events there. Levy Restaurants, which was founded in Chicago, has a strong reputation in the sports industry, so expectations are high.
