The NFL announced that Super Bowl LXIV will take place in Nashville at the new Nissan Stadium in 2030. The decision was made during the owners’ meetings taking place in Orlando this week.
The exact date was not released, likely because the league continues to try to add more regular-season games to the NFL schedule, which would affect which week the Super Bowl takes place. By the time 2030 rolls around, it’s entirely possible the NFL could have an 18-game schedule, which would push the Super Bowl back by a week from its typical calendar slot.
Regardless, there’s nothing to do right now, since we’re years away from hotel booking windows opening for 2030. So, for the moment, the news gives Tennesseans a heads-up that the big game is coming to their town.
