The NFL announced this week that Super Bowl LXIII will be played in Las Vegas at Allegiant Stadium. It will be the second time that the stadium hosts the event, following Super Bowl LVIII between the Chiefs and 49ers in 2024.
For the second time in a row, the NFL did not release a date for the game. That is because it will depend on how negotiations go with the NFL Players Association regarding expanding the season to 18 games. If that were to happen, it would push the Super Bowl back by at least one week. The date for the 2028 Super Bowl in Atlanta also doesn’t have a date attached to it.
Upcoming Super Bowl locations
The big game is now assigned to a host city for the next four years:
Super Bowl LX (2026): Levi’s Stadium, Santa Clara, CA (Feb 8, 2026)
Super Bowl LXI (2027): SoFi Stadium, Inglewood, CA (Feb 14, 2027)
Super Bowl LXII (2028): Mercedes-Benz Stadium, Atlanta, GA
Super Bowl LXIII (2029): Allegiant Stadium, Las Vegas, NV
Next Steps
There’s nothing for fans to do right now in terms of making plans. We don’t even have a game date, and even if we did, it would be too early to book hotels or flights. Just mark it on your calendar, and we’ll keep you posted as additional details are announced.
