How Fans Can Prepare for the 2026 PGA Championship

by | May 22, 2025

Just as Scottie Scheffler raised the Wanamaker Trophy this past weekend at the PGA Championship, so too can fans elevate their preparations for the 2026 tournament held at Aronimink. The Philadelphia club is set to host just its second-ever PGA Championship, and it’s sure to see another capacity crowd of fans on its grounds throughout the week of May 11-17, 2026.

Believe it or not, if you want to see the event in 2026, now is the time to start planning!

What you need to know about ticket options

It may seem sudden, but tickets are just about to go on sale for the 2026 tournament. Yes, it’s very early, but if you want to be able to grab tickets directly from the PGA, now is the time to get ready.

General admission grounds passes

The PGA Championship offers two general admission ticket options: a Championship+ Daily Grounds ticket, and a Championship+ Weekly Grounds ticket. Regardless of which you purchase, all Grounds tickets give fans access to Aronimink Golf Club for their selected days and come with all-inclusive food and non-alcoholic beverages “inspired by the surrounding region.” This year’s tournament in Charlotte provided patrons with a variety of food choices made by restaurant chains in the area, including burgers, hot dogs, chicken sandwiches, pulled pork sandwiches, fish and chips, wraps, and more.

A Grounds Ticket also allows fans to access grandstand seating, which isn’t always the case for these premier sporting events.

TSI TIP: Other than just having to click one button instead of seven, we don’t see any particular benefit in purchasing the weekly pass instead of just daily passes. Both include the same benefits, but the weekly pass only has a $27 total discount over the combined daily passes. So, if you’re 100% sure you want to go each day, there’s nothing wrong with purchasing the weekly pass (which is delivered as seven individual one-day passes, in the event that you want/need to resell or forward any tickets to others). But there’s no other benefit to the weekly pass.

Hospitality options

In addition to Grounds Tickets, fans can also purchase Daily Club PGA Hospitality Tickets. These give patrons access to an area overlooking the 8th and 10th greens that offers all-inclusive food options and an open bar. Other amenities include heating and air, WiFi. “stylish décor,” televisions showing the day’s action, and parking passes. Fans interested in securing a spot in a hospitality area should visit the PGA’s site here

Special discounts

Similar to this year’s event, Aronimink will offer juniors and members of the armed forces special rates. Kids ages 15 and under can enter the grounds for free when accompanied by a ticketed adult (each adult can bring in two kids but tickets cannot be ordered in advance: they must be picked up on the day of the event, and are exempt from being sold out, so you’re guaranteed to get kids passes if you want them).

Military members also receive free admission with one guest for each day of the tournament, but must register through GovX first. (Note: as of 5/22/25, only Monday-Wednesday tickets remain for the military discount. Thursday-Sunday is sold out according to the PGA’s website).

Ticket and hospitality price breakdown

DayChampionship+ DailyDaily PGA Club

Wednesday$128N/A
Thursday$224$1,264
Friday$298$1,383
Saturday$319$1,383
Sunday$309$1,383

Those interested in registering to purchase tickets should click here: it’s free, and does not obligate you to purchase anything. But it’s also important to note that registering doesn’t guarantee the chance to purchase tickets.

Additionally, fans who are Chase cardholders can obtain preferred access via the “Chase Early On Sale” from May 22-23, 2025. Those eligible will have the ability to purchase tickets on a first-come, first-served basis before other purchase windows open. To take advantage of this opportunity, fans must use the “Chase Early On Sale” link included in the email sent to them by the PGA once they’ve registered.

Lodging

Equally important to tickets are available hotel options. Already, many hotels in the Philadelphia metro area are sold out the week of May 11-17 next year. Those with availability for that week are slightly farther away from the course, but start at just $110 a night.

Alternatively, the PGA does offer travel packages that incorporate hotel stays. These provide fans with lodging in Philadelphia’s city center, transportation, and access to the grounds for their selected days. Prices range from $1295 per person for Sunday course access and one night’s stay, to $3295 per person for five nights and course access from Thursday to Sunday.

Bottom line

As popular of an event as the PGA Championship is every year, and as limited as tickets and hotel options will be, it’s important for fans to be faster than Bryson DeChambeau’s club head speed if they hope to make the trip to Philadelphia next year. Register for tickets here right now, and start looking at refundable hotel reservations for your intended days.
