Ticket registration for the 2027 PGA Championship in Dallas opened today, and if you’re interested in attending, you’ll want to sign up as soon as you can. And if you have a Chase card, you can get early access to tickets.
The 2027 PGA Tournament location
The 2027 PGA Championship will be held at Fields Ranch East in Frisco, a suburb of Dallas. The course itself is located about 35 miles north of downtown Dallas.
The tournament dates are Monday, May 17, through Sunday, May 23. The first three days are practice events, and the main tournament will begin on Thursday.
The Registration Process
If you think you might be interested in attending, you should register immediately, as your registration date/time dictates your selection priority. The earlier you sign up, the earlier you will be able to select tickets.
Once you register for tickets, you’ll immediately receive an email confirmation with a selection window for a date in early May.
Keep in mind: registering for the lottery does not require you to purchase tickets. But if you have any interest in attending the tournament, if you at least register now, you’ll have a few weeks to think about whether it’s something you’re serious about attending.
Ticket hack: the Chase presale
There is one available cheat that can help you get tickets earlier than your selection window: Chase credit card holders will be able to purchase tickets on May 5. But in order to take advantage of that early access, you still need to register for the ticket lottery. Once you register for the general ticket process, you’ll be able to participate in the Chase presale.
(Interestingly, the PGA claims that this will be earlier than other fans will be able to purchase tickets, but our registration window opens on May 4, so it’s possible that this early credit card window helps you skip part of the line, but not the entire line.)

Schedule Scout
It’s too early to know if the Rangers, FC Dallas, or Dallas Wings might have home games in Dallas that week, not to mention any possible Stars or Mavericks playoff games. But we will update that information once the 2027 MLB, MLS, and WNBA schedules are released.

Next Steps
Registering for the ticket presale is the obvious first step, and you need to do that right away to get the best shot at tickets.
Beyond that, it’s not a bad idea to make a refundable hotel reservation. If you want to stay near the course in Frisco, there will be a limited number of hotels to choose from. Your options will be much better in central Dallas, but you’ll definitely want a rental car to get to and from the tournament.
