If you missed the first ticket lottery for the 2028 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles, or didn’t secure tickets in the first drawing, registration is open until July 22 for the second LA28 ticket draw. Similarly, Visa cardholders can register prior to July 22 to be eligible for the Visa presale. If you previously entered the first Visa drawing, you will be automatically re-entered.
If your entry is selected, you will receive a time slot in which to purchase up to 12 tickets across all sports and 12 soccer tickets, which do not count towards the 12 all-sport tickets. The Opening and Closing Ceremonies tickets are capped at 4 per person, and those tickets would count toward the 12-ticket limit.
Draw results will be announced by August 7, and winners will be given time slots from August 10 through 20 to purchase their tickets. You can only purchase tickets during your time slot, and you will only select a ticket category for your seats rather than specific seat locations.
If you do not hit your allotted ticket maximum in this draw, or did not receive a time slot, you will be automatically entered into future draws. You can register for the draw at this link. The competition schedule is here, and the game locations are available here.

Organizers have said the cheapest tickets are $28, and that a third of the ~14 million total tickets will cost less than $100.
Ticketing packages are also available for purchase and offer reserved seating, lounge access, food, and drink. Prices for a standard, single-event ticket package begin at $425, rise into the thousands, and vary by sport. Premium ticket packages charge more.
The 2028 Olympics will be held July 14–30, 2028, in the greater Los Angeles area. Preliminary soccer matchups will additionally be hosted in San José, San Diego, and several other sites around the country: Oklahoma City, Columbus, Nashville, New York City, and St. Louis. Oklahoma City will also host all softball events.
Paralympics tickets for August 17-27, 2028, will go on sale in 2027.
Travel and lodging
Planning ahead will be essential for the Olympics as people from all over the world flock to LA to see the cream of the athletic crop. Flight bookings open one year prior to flights, so if you are planning on attending LA28, check out flights to the many regional airports (Los Angeles International Airport, Hollywood Burbank Airport, John Wayne Airport, Long Beach Airport, and Ontario International Airport) starting in July 2027. Additionally, as an official partner of LA28, Airbnb will open bookings in LA for summer 2028 this July. If you know you want to attend but have not yet secured tickets, make sure you book only refundable or cancellable lodging.
