Jaguars to host back-to-back games in London in 2026

by | Mar 1, 2026

If you’re looking to see the Jacksonville Jaguars play at home in 2026, you’ll have fewer opportunities this year. The NFL announced this week that the Jaguars will play on back-to-back weekends in London in 2026, serving as the home team for both.

The first game will be played at Wembley Stadium, and the following week’s game will be at Tottenham Stadium. Dates for the games have not been released, but they are typically held from the end of September to the end of October.

The Jaguars have played in consecutive weeks in London before, but not as the host team for both games. The reason for the schedule change? The Jaguars’ stadium renovation project.

The Jaguars are expecting to move into the new and improved Everbank Stadium in 2028. The renovations to the current stadium will begin in 2026, but the Jaguars will continue to play there during construction this year with a reduced capacity of 42,000. In 2027, the team will relocate to a yet-to-be-disclosed temporary stadium while the renovations are finished. Rumors are that it could either be Ben Hill Griffin Stadium at the University of Florida, or Camping World Stadium in Orlando.

As a trade-off for Jaguars fans, the team will skip playing in London as a home team in 2030, and instead keep that game in their new stadium.

Who will the Jaguars play in London?

Looking at the Jaguars’ home opponents for 2026, they include:

Cleveland Browns

Houston Texans

Indianapolis Colts

New England Patriots

Pittsburgh Steelers

Philadelphia Eagles

Tennessee Titans

Washington Commanders

The Washington Commanders will also be hosting a home game at Tottenham Stadium, so it’s not possible for them to be the Jaguars’ opponent. That leaves seven options, and things will start to get more complicated for the Jaguars. There’s little question that the best games on the Jags’ home schedule are the Eagles, Patriots, and Steelers, and losing one of those to London won’t be received well by the home fans. But, at the same time, does the NFL want those higher-profile matchups played at a stadium with a reduced capacity? Especially when they know that those teams would be huge draws across the pond?

We’ll know the answer in May when the NFL announces the full schedule.

Next Steps

The Jags will get six regular-season home games this year, and will play two “home games” in London. There are no dates for these games yet, so it’s too early to book flights or hotels. But now is the time to start thinking about whether you might want to travel to London, and it’s also a good idea to register with the NFL for updates regarding tickets.
