Single-game tickets to see Manchester United, one of the English Premier League’s most iconic clubs, go on sale July 1 at 10am BST (5am EDT). For fans wanting to see a match at Old Trafford, this will be one of the best opportunities to purchase tickets.
Single-game tickets are sold exclusively to Man United Official Members. Beyond home game tickets, membership includes merchandise and club discounts, and is renewed annually at the end of May (membership does not include access to tickets for domestic away games and cup finals). There are three membership tiers that allow for access to tickets:

Memberships include access to purchase tickets when available, but do not guarantee availability. Ticket prices fall into four price ranges for each match, as shown on the seating map here.
Each member can purchase only one ticket per game. If you are looking to buy tickets for your entire family, you must have at least one Official Membership, which can then be linked to other members, allowing for multiple tickets to be purchased together. For Under-16 memberships, match tickets cannot be bought without a linked adult in the booking.
To link accounts, hover over the “General Info” tab once you are logged into your Manchester United ticketing account. Hover over your name in the top-right corner, and click “Linked Accounts/Relationships.” From there, go to “Manage Linked Accounts.” Link your adult membership to your child’s junior membership in the “Strong Relationships” section, which allows both you and them to see booking history and ticket transactions. To link these accounts, you’ll need your child’s supporter/member number, their last name, and their date of birth. After linking your accounts, their Under 16 tickets will appear in your mobile ticketing app. You can also link your account to another adult membership account through ticketing app. You can link with up to six fans through this relationship level, and any party involved can forward, resale, or donate your ticket, so only set those up with those you trust.
Membership does not guarantee tickets
A very important thing to consider is that purchasing a membership does not guarantee that tickets will be available for a specific match or that you will be able to purchase as many adjacent tickets as you may need. For certain home games, your membership allows you to enter a ballot for a chance to purchase a ticket. For those more popular matches, finding a group of tickets together can be very challenging, so we recommend being flexible about which matches you are willing to attend.
Essentially, you’re buying the chance to buy tickets. For a family of four, that would mean £115 in membership fees to create that chance. Given the fact that the UK does not have the same type of open resale platforms as those in North America, these memberships represent the most direct and legitimate way to purchase tickets.
